SLC wanted a more polished-looking magazine. The editor planned to focus on one universal theme per issue, using short articles from a range of alumni and faculty representing various perspectives.

The new magazine uses creative cover photography, more white space and interesting typography. We downplayed or eliminated below-par photography and softened photo-less articles with casual illustration or graphics (often used as background).
