We changed this magazine from the ground up, giving it a new name, focus and look and revamping the editorial goals, writing styles and departments. We brought in excellent feature writers to tackle the university’s big issues as well as the usual alumni profiles.

Bold photography replaced second-hand art throughout the book. Two-page spreads were turned into a number of revolving departments—Collections, Performance and, simply, ASU View, among others. Campus news was greatly expanded, in space and scope, and the Class Notes section was enhanced with short alumni profiles.
